Nottingham In-Home Assistants - Description of Services Offered.

At Nottingham we offer temporary, periodic, and on-going home visiting & help care services in the Southeast Michigan & the Detroit Metropolitan Area.

Our services include:

RESPITE CARE:

A key component of our assistance focuses on the families of those we care for. Many times we often forget how overwhelming it is to care for a beloved family member. NIHA understands from first hand experience the need for family respite care.

ATTENDANT CARE:

We also provide in-home caregiver services for those injured in automobile and other accidents. In many cases your home owners or auto insurance policies may cover the cost of this service. NIHA can help you coordinate your potential benefits, and help you with your recovery.

INTEGRITY:

Let Nottingham In-Home Assistants, LLC aid in your goal of caring for your loved one, in their own home, for as long as reasonably possible.

COMMUNICATION:

Nottingham In-Home Assistants, LLC will customize your care plan and will routinely communicate with you, and your family, to reassess and adapt to your changing needs.

* Our experienced caregivers assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)

Description of Services

• Companionship and support for the homebound, the elderly and the infirmed
• Assistance with hobbies / reading / crafts / games, etc.
• Assistance with meal preparations / future meal preparations
• Assistance with feeding
• Assistance with Dressing / Grooming and Personal care / hygiene
• Assistance with bed time preparations / morning/awakening preparations
• Medication Reminders
• Light Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
• Laundry / Changing of bed linens
• Assistance with ambulation / transfers
• Peri / Skin care
• Coordinating benifits with your Insurance Company, when applicable or necessary.
• Travel Assistance to/from doctor appointments / errands*

Assistance with other daily activities

• Answering the door adding additional security to the home
• Taking out the garbage
• Bringing in the Mail
• Basic pet care - feeding, etc.
