Welcome to Nottingham In-Home Assistants How we Select our Staff - Criteria.

At Nottingham we offer temporary, periodic, and on-going home visiting & help care services in the South East Michigan & the Detroit Metropolitan Area.


Selection of Staff

Nottingham In-Home Assistants, LLC screens each potential applicant thoroughly to ensure that we employ only those caregivers who meet our high standard of excellence in providing quality client care. Each potential applicant /employee must:

  • * Submit a Professional Resume
  • * Complete a thorough four-page Application
  • * Present themselves for a two-step interview process
  • * Present valid references for confirmation
  • * Present copies of their certifications for validation
  • * Pass a background check through Michigan State Police Service (I-chat)
  • * Pass a drug screening and present for random drug screenings thereafter
  • * Pass the Sexual Offender background check
  • * Present proper identification to complete Form I-9 (I.R.S. Internal Revenue Service - Employment Eligibility Verification form)
  • * Express their understanding with regard to the Patient Confidentiality Act
  • * Present for routine educational in-services (i.e. CPR / First Aid certification)
  • * Submit to random, unannounced visits on site by the Nottingham In-Home Assistants, LLC Management Team for review


Nottingham In-Home Assistants, LLC is also bonded and insured.
